Jakarta wins soccer match

Jakarta's junior soccer team won the 1994 Beijing friendship
soccer match after defeating Seoul 2-0 and Tokyo 5-2.

Syahrum Sazili, the leader of the team which consisted of
elementary school students, said yesterday at City Hall that the
match was held in the Chinese capital city from Aug. 5 to 7.

Four teams, including Tokyo, Seoul and host Beijing, took part
in the friendship matches. (arf)
