Jakarta Sixes tourney on the weekend

JAKARTA: Cricketers from Southeast Asia are set to compete in
the Jakarta International Sixes Tournament on Oct. 8-Oct. 9 at
Cibubur oval, East Jakarta.

The annual event, hosted by the Jakarta Cricket Association
and one of the highlights of the region's international cricket
calendar, will feature teams made up of expatriates and local
players from Bali, Medan and Jakarta, as well as squads from Hong
Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.

The national team recently returned from last week's East Asia
Pacific Cricket Cup in Vanuatu, where they finished fifth. -- JP
