JAKARTA (JP): The City Land Transportation Agency has installed new traffic signals on Jl. Tomang Raya, West Jakarta in concurrence with new traffic regulations on this road.

Starting yesterday, Jl. Tomang Raya, is open to traffic from the Tomang intersection from Jl. S. Parman towards the Jl. Kyai Caringin intersection everyday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., except on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays.

To regulate traffic, lights will indicate which lane to use.

The agency has also been testing a new traffic light system at several intersections in Jakarta. The lights, which usually switch automatically from red to green, now turn amber before green, alerting drivers to proceed with caution. (25)
