Jail warden murdered
TANGERANG (JP): A prison warden identified as Jalil, 25, was killed, allegedly by his colleagues, after a game of cards at PM bus pool on Jl. Sudirman, Tangerang.
A PM bus driver found the victim wedged underneath a bench, lying in a pool of blood at 3 a.m. yesterday. The driver immediately reported the matter to the police.
Tangerang Police are questioning 15 suspects who were last seen with the victim during a game of cards. One suspect, identified as Naz, 28, reportedly disappeared before questioning.
The victim, a resident of Cipinang Muara, East Jakarta, was involved in a dispute during the card game late Wednesday night. His mates said he played too slowly which caused a quarrel.
The following morning Jalil was found dead with a long wound to his neck. An autopsy was done at Tangerang Hospital. (13/22)
