ITS enters robot contest
SURABAYA: Eight teams from the November 10 Institute of Technology (ITS) have been selected to participate in the upcoming 2005 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) and the Indonesian Robot Intelligence Contest (KCRI), both of which will be held in Jakarta in May.
ITS rector Mohammad Nuh said his students are out to extend the institute's winning streak in the competition.
This year's contest is titled "Reaching the Peak of Borobudur, Lighting the Fire of Peace".
"It's not the sophistication that really matters in this contest, but the teamwork and the aesthetic and artistic aspects," Nuh said.
The winner of the event will represent the country in the International Robot Contest in Beijing in August. -- Antara
