Islamic music group replaces 'dangdut' queen

JAKARTA: The Bekasi regency will replace gyrating dangdut
queen Inul Daratista with performances by religious teacher Jefri
Al-Bukhori and a performance by Islamic music group Opik for the
upcoming new year's eve celebrations at Sukamahi village in
Cikarang.

"What we are concerned about is safety," Bekasi deputy regent
Solihin Sari was quoted by tempointeraktif.com as saying on
Sunday. He also said that the replacement was deemed more
acceptable to the public. -- JP
