IPTN sells 159 helicopters

BANDUNG (JP): State-owned PT Industri Pesawat Terbang Nusantara (IPTN) has sold 159 helicopters domestically so far, a company executive has said.

IPTN's vice president for marketing, Pudji Sulaksono, said yesterday 113 were NBO-105 helicopters

He said the helicopters were mostly sold to government agencies.

Speaking after the delivery of five NBell 412 helicopters to the Ministry of Defense and Security, Pudji said several government agencies were still waiting for the delivery of their helicopters.

The police are waiting for the delivery of six NBO-105 helicopters and NC-212 light aircraft.(hen/ahy)
