IPA convention starts today
JAKARTA: The Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) announced it would hold its 28th Annual Convention and Exhibition on the oil and gas industry starting on Tuesday.
The three-day convention would be attended by some 1,500 local and international delegates, the association said on Monday in a statement.
The theme of the conference is "Indonesian Oil and Gas Transition; Seize the Opportunities."
The exhibition will be participated in by various companies, including state-owned oil and gas company Pertamina, BP Indonesia, Caltex Pacific Indonesia, ExxonMobil Oil Indonesia Inc., Gulf Resources Indonesia, TotalFinaElf and Unocal.
President Megawati Soekarnoputri is expected to open the event.--JP
