Int'l hospital to be built in Bali

SANUR, Bali: An international hospital with a 120-bed capacity will be constructed near Sanur beach resort this month, hospital director Briliantono said.

"The first phase, which will start on Saturday, is to develop rooms for 50 patients and organize the training for 96 hospital staff, including 10 doctors," he said.

The hospital, to be called Hospital Sanur International, is slated to begin full operations in April.

It will charge Rp 30,000 per patient for medical consultations, while room rates will vary from Rp 50,000 per night for a third-class room to Rp 450,000 per night for a VIP room. (50/edt)
