Interpreters for NGOs

There were no more language problems for the participants of the international non-governmental organizations' (NGOs) and major groups' discussions and workshop at the Grand Hyatt hotel in Nusa Dua, Bali, on Monday as a group of multi-lingual interpreters arrived.

Translations are available simultaneously for Indonesian, English, French and Spanish during discussions with the help of headphones.

Unfortunately the interpreters -- set up in booths -- were so enthusiastic in their job that their voices could sometimes carry to the conference room.

Previously, all discussions were to be conducted in English, and non-English speaking participants had to turn to others for help, including to journalists.
