Insult
A letter published in the June 3, 1995 issue of The Jakarta Post struck me as not being quite right. One reader suggested that another should see a psychiatrist.
Although debate in some cases can be healthy, insinuating that another person is mentally imbalanced is a serious charge and is out of place among sensible people.
Perhaps the letter writer can wait three days next time he is incensed by another's opinion in The Jakarta Post. Passions will by then have cooled down. Mr Piero Ronci, you are entitled to your say, so ignore the impertinent insults.
