Injustice towards aborigines

I read recently with contempt how four members of the Indonesian Human Rights Commission had traveled to Canberra reporting to a Human Rights Forum, convened by Australians. Perhaps the Indonesian delegates will be taught by their Australian counterparts on how to quietly decimate an entire race of people, (Australian aborigines), and still be regarded as a developed and civilized nation by the International Community.

Australia persists in pointing its grubby finger at Indonesia citing East Timor issues, while simultaneously ignoring the despicable injustice suffered by Australian aborigines.

My question is this: In 1788 there were an estimated 300,000 or more Australian aborigines, today this population has fallen to a mere 70,000, many of whom languish in oppressive institutions. In the words of the indignant French: "What happened to the rest?"
