Indosat runs training center
JAKARTA (JP): State-owned international telecommunications provider PT Indosat introduced yesterday its training center in Jatiluhur, West Java.
Company president Tjahjono Soerjodibroto said that the facility, called Indosat Training Center, was developed with an investment of Rp 20 billion (US$8.5 million) on a 2.5-hectare plot near the company's earth station in Jatiluhur.
He said that even though the center is for the improvement of Indosat's human resources, it is also open to other organizations.
Since the start of its operation in April, the center has hosted several modules of training for employees of Indosat and other companies, such as PT Astra international and PT Semen Cibinong, he said. (icn)
