Indonesia stance on U.S. attacks

JAKARTA: Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono said on Wednesday that the government could not reveal its definitive stance on the U.S.- Afghanistan conflict, as that totally depended on how the conflict might develop.

"This does not necessarily mean that we will not reveal other stances on the conflict, should the situation in Afghanistan worsen due to the military attacks by the United States," Susilo told reporters on the sidelines of a seminar on regional autonomy here.

Susilo also said, "the worry over the country's economic future should not stop us articulating the truth." --JP
