Indonesia Lady Open to tee off at BSD

JAKARTA (JP): A huge field of more than 180 lady golfers from
seven countries including host Indonesia will grace the Bumi
Serpong Damai plush golf link in Tangerang, west of here
tomorrow.

The three-day event which winds up on Saturday will feature
four tournaments; Individual Gross Event to be played over 54
holes, Individual Nett Event according to Handicap Flight
contested over 36 holes, Team Gross Event also played over 36
holes, and Team Nett Event also 36 holes, committee spokeswoman
Nell Lisapally said.

Participants of the annual event which has been attracting
bigger and bigger participants from abroad since it was
inaugurated 15 years ago, are vying for two prestigious trophies
- the Srikandi Cup and Kartini Cup.

The seven nations taking part in the championships are China,
Hong Kong, Thailand, India, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea and
host Indonesia (rsl).
