Indonesia expects gold in diving meet

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Scuba Diving Association expects to grab one gold medal in the Second Asian Diving Competition at Tong Yong Beach, South Korea, on July 27 and 28.

Razul Chalbi, executive director of the association, said that the organization will send one male and one female diver to the competition, which will feature underwater orientation and 3000m fins swimming.

"We hope we can grab a gold medal either from our male or female diver," he said.

Antara reported that M Ivan Diponegoro Gani and Anna Gani from West Java will participate in the 3000m fins swimming category. (yan)
