Indocopper joins Freeport
JAKARTA (JP): The shareholders of PT Indocopper Investama Corporation agreed yesterday to the company's plan on acquiring a nine percent stake at PT Mining Service Company International, which is controlled by Freeport-McMoran Copper & Gold Inc.
Indocopper said that 21.37 million shares, 99.79 percent of the company's total shares, were represented at yesterday's shareholders' extraordinary meeting and none of the company's independent shareholders lodged a disagreement to the company's proposal.
Mining Service Company operates in mining services.(rid)
