Indo-Internet

I am a subscriber to Indo-Internet, an Internet service provider, in Jakarta. I have been experiencing difficulties in accessing my Mail Box for the last week despite changing the e- mail profile settings as explained by Indo-Internet on their home page.

Whenever I try to access my POP Mail Server, I get a message "Cannot connect/access indonet.." or "Password mismatch...". This makes me feel that someone may be tampering with the mail box.

My frustration multiplied when I could not even change my access and POP Mail Server password. Every time I call the Customer Service at Indo-Internet, the person attending to me asks for the same details again and again and comes out with the same reply, namely that at their office they are able to access my e-mail Box.

Interestingly, there are some intelligent persons in Customer Service who ask you to wait patiently on the telephone line until after some time the line is disconnected ( disconnected automatically, not by the person attending to you).

Out of curiosity and frustration I inquired with friends using the services of Indo-Internet. They confirmed that they have also experienced the same difficulties and that they are tired of calling up Indo-Internet Customer Service.

I regret the irresponsible behavior of Indo-Internet Customer Service more than the strange behavior of the Indo-Internet mail server. Can any Internet expert (of course including the Indo- Internet Customer Service experts) throw some light on these failures? Especially when the Indo-Internet login screen invites its subscribers to "...enjoy newly installed faster and more powerful SUN SPARC - 20 High Speed Server..."?
