India Club

I am writing in response to the letter written by T.P. Soni, of the India Club (March 8) referring to my article published on March 6, 1997.

At the outset, I would like to bring to the notice of all concerned that:

1. The article in it's draft form was shown to one of the important members of the organizing committee of India Club who himself had arranged to fax it to your editorial department.

2. As the function was only a cultural meet and not a charity show, it is improper on my part to write anything more about India Club or about the organizers.

Hence for the two reasons stated above, I do not accept any allegations stated in the letter.
