Inclusion of photo
We refer to an article appearing in The Jakarta Post's Sunday edition of Feb. 17.
While we do agree with the reported subject, we are rather disappointed to find the inclusion of a photo taken (without our consent) at our YA-UDAH Bistro.
The combination of the photo with the article is misleading in that it gives the impression that the author is directing her article at our Bistro. Admittedly there is no mention of our establishment (be it negative or positive) in the article, nor was our management or staff contacted/interviewed on this subject. No, the article refers to "five-star hotels", "fashion cafe" and the "Kafe Roti" and Plaza Senayan.
It would be appreciated if the Post could in the future consider such cases and be a bit more careful, and it might be a wonderful idea to contact the respective management in advance to get permission for printing and taking photos of their establishments and not just simply delving into your archives and picking one that might not complain.

Note: Thank you for your input. We regret that you were offended by the inclusion of the photograph. However, our caption does not identify your establishment by name and there is no indication in the wording of the article that service at your establishment is in any way substandard.
