The Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration has secured 62 foreign nationals detected committing various immigration violations in Bali during the “Patroli Keimigrasian Dharma Dewata” operation.

The Head of the Bali Regional Immigration Office, Felucia Sengky Ratna, stated that the patrol targeted high-risk areas within the jurisdictions of the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, Denpasar, and Singaraja.

“The focus of the patrol includes monitoring foreign nationals who exceed their stay permit limits (overstay), providing false data to obtain visas, and misusing stay permits for illegal activities such as working without permission, involvement in fictitious investments, as well as other disturbances to public security and order,” said Felucia in a written statement on Tuesday (5/5/2026).

She stated that heavy administrative sanctions have been prepared, ranging from detention, deportation, to re-entry bans to Indonesian territory for a certain period.

“We urge the public to remain proactive in reporting any suspicious activities by foreigners through official complaint channels to maintain security and comfort for the community in Bali,” she said.

“I have ordered all ranks to act firmly without compromise. We will welcome quality foreign tourists and investors, but for those who disregard Indonesian law, there are only two choices: comply with our rules or leave Indonesian territory immediately,” said Hendarsam.

Hendarsam stated that Bali, as Indonesia’s showcase to the world, is a reflection of the nation’s dignity, so Immigration will not allow foreign elements to damage the local social or economic order.

On the same occasion, Director of Immigration Supervision and Enforcement Yuldi Yusman emphasised his team’s commitment to strengthening field law enforcement operations.

“We continue to strengthen supervision and enforcement functions to detect potential violations as early as possible. This crackdown is concrete evidence that the Directorate of Immigration Supervision and Enforcement provides no room for foreign nationals who violate the law and disrupt order,” said Yuldi.
