IMI to promote three racers

JAKARTA (JP): Hendriansyah, Irwan Andriansyah and Aria Setyaki
are set to follow in the footsteps of Ananda Mikola in taking on
an international challenge, a top official of the Indonesian
Motorsports Association (IMI) said on Wednesday.

Ananda now joins the European F3 competition, a car racing
arena that serves as a stepping stone to the prestigious F1
championship.

"Hendriansyah is third in Asia's rankings. He's going to
participate in the world's road race competition next year. He
has even secured sponsorship," IMI's Chairman Bob Nasution told
reporters. He did not give out the sponsor's name.

Dolly Indra Nasution, another IMI official, tipped Aria
Setiyaki as Ananda's successor. (01)
