Illegal wheat flour found in Pekanbaru

PEKANBARU, Riau: The Riau Trade and Industry Office inspected
several traditional markets in the province for the past week,
and discovered two illegal brands of wheat flour.

The Kereta and Lotus brands were never registered with the
office, according to office head Emrizal Pakis. He did not say
how many kilograms of illegal wheat flour was confiscated.

Emrizal said on Friday he had instructed officials at the
office to heighten inspections at other traditional markets and
seize any illegal wheat flour from traders. -- JP
