Illegal joint ads

We have learnt that PT Dayacipta Megakreasi, Jl. Mampang
Prapatan X No. 37 B, Jakarta 2790, has sent a proposal to
Garuda's working partners on the publication of a joint
advertisement to congratulate Garuda for The Best in Achieving
Total Customer Satisfaction award that it received from Frontier,
a marketing research consultant, and SWA magazine on Sept. 8,
2000. In connection with this, we would like to state that Garuda
has never appointed a single company, including PT Dayacipta
Megakreasi, located at Jl. Mampang Prapatan X No. 37, Jakarta
12790, to coordinate the publication of such a joint
advertisement.

We deem it necessary to clarify this matter as Garuda has been
receiving a lot of queries from its working partners, inquiring
whether or not it is true that PT Dayacipta Megakreasi has been
appointed to make a proposal on the joint advertisement.

In the context of the receipt of "The Best in Achieving Total
Customer Satisfaction", Garuda has made an announcement about
this which it financed by itself without involving its working
partners or other companies. This announcement was published in a
number of national mass media publications on Sept. 9, 2000.

As Garuda has never appointed any companies, including PT
Dayacipta Megakreasi, to coordinate a joint congratulatory
advertisement, we now wish to suggest to all our working partners
and other companies that they should not participate in this
activity.
