Illegal cafes closed by force

BOGOR (JP): Public order officers here closed down on recently two cafes for not holding an operational permit.

The two cafes were Cafe Koral, located on Jl. A. Yani, and cafe Bola Mania 222 at the basement of Jambu Dua shopping mall in the downtown area well known for routinely featuring dangdut music performances.

A group of employees of Cafe Koral resisted the closure by showing the license to hold public entertainment.

The officers rejected the license, which was not signed by an authorized official.

The closure of the other cafe went unchallenged as it had stopped operating since last week following a brawl between guests. (21)
