Money politics?

Without understanding precisely what money politics actually means, I wonder if the distribution of money to supporters of a presidential candidate falls under this category?

If I support candidate Z, for instance, and the campaign manager pays me Rp 20,000 to campaign at a certain location, I think that's fair enough.

Not all supporters have enough money to buy food and drinks while campaigning, so the money would cover their basic needs.
