IBM, INDOSATnet help SMEs

JAKARTA (JP): IBM has launched a series of computing products and services aimed primarily at small office home office (SOHO) workers and small business planning to start their own e- business.

The company said on Tuesday the new product solution range includes the entry level Netfinity 1000 server, ThinkPad 600 and the new ThinkPad 390X note book and PC300GL business computer.

IBM has established cooperation with INDOSATnet to enable SOHO businesses access to the Internet. It also offers additional benefits to product buyers such as free e-mail accounts, free first month subscription and ten free hours of Internet access provided by INDOSATnet.

The launch is in line with IBM's small business program which has been executed to encourage small business activities in the competitive global market. (06)
