Dunst's choice of projects seems to be hit-and-miss. She starred in the sassy, enjoyable Bring It On after appearing in a best-forgotten sequel to The Crow. Then she was in the widely acclaimed Virgin Suicides, and now here she is in a standard teen flick.

Berke (Foster) becomes reacquainted with Alison (Sagemiller), his childhood girlfriend, in high school and they begin a relationship. But she soon gets bored and dumps him.

He tries to win her back, but she is going out with a snobby member of a boyband. Meanwhile, his friend's sister (Dunst) has a crush on him.

Good soundtrack, but little else to offer.**
