ON THE RIGHT TRACK: A KL monorail train, the latest mode of public transportation, drives past the world's tallest building, the Petronas Twin Tower, in Kuala Lumpur. The 8.6 kilometer KL monorail link, launched by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad on Sunday, has 11 stops around the city, and trains can travel at up to 90 kilometer per hour with up to 214 passengers on board. It is expected to reduce inner-city road traffic by some 15 percent.
