I and many other fair-minded, clear-thinking Australians are very concerned for one of our citizens at the moment, Schapelle Corby. Schapelle has been the innocent victim of Australian baggage handler's drug smuggling enterprise. She has done no wrong but has been locked up in Kerobokan Prison for six months now and is nearing the end of her strength.

Australian people are worried that she has not been given a fair trial because fingerprints have not been tested on the bag of drugs despite many requests to the court for this to happen, and video footage has mysteriously gone missing, and both of these things would clear Schapelle of all wrongdoing and she would be freed immediately.

I and many like myself are invoking a total boycott of Indonesia, its products and its people until Schapelle is given a fair trial and freed without conviction. This action will have a devastating affect on your tourism industry in Bali and will flow on through industry to hurt the local people. This is an unfortunate situation but can be prevented by lobbying your government and courts to ensure Schapelle receives a fair trial and not the horror movie production she has had to endure so far.

I hope justice prevails and that we can avoid any permanent damage to our countries relations and to the Indonesian economy, as a loss of Aussie tourists would devastate Bali. I hope you can see your way clear to pressuring your government for all of our sakes so this can be resolved satisfactorily.
