Honoris exports Kenwood

JAKARTA (JP): PT Honoris Perdana Industry, a subsidiary of Modern Group, officially delivered Thursday the first bulk of its Kenwood home audio exports to the United States.

The company said the delivery of about 1,890 Kenwood audio sets was launched from the company's factory in Serang, West Java.

The company, which has spent Rp 10 billion (US$3.3 million) in investment for its home audio production, manufactures some of its audio products in cooperation with Kenwood, a U.S.-based home audio manufacturer.

Established in 1987, the company also produces audio equipment under the brand "Modern", which has been exported to several countries, including Germany, Belgium, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

The company also produces non-electronic materials, such as rubber teats for baby's milk bottles, plastic frames, film cases and camera parts and home appliances like hair dryers and flashlights. (08)
