Home for the holidays?
Home for the holidays?
Am I the only person angry at British Airways? Or are there
more of us out there?
In the past two years the service has deteriorated so much
until now it is nonexistent.
Try calling their number and you end up with Qantas and into
the loop of "press number 2 for English or number 1 for
Indonesian". Press what you like but after 20 minutes you are
still nowhere. What happened to the efficient young ladies who
could always find you a booking?
What happened, too, to my booking made back in July, to get me
home for the Christmas break and the millennium? It vanished
without so much as a note from British Airways. They changed it
to go via Singapore and changed the carrier.
The final straw came with the new prices, the almost monopoly
position has meant they can about double their prices for a
lesser service.
British Airways should realize, service means more than a bit
of paint on your tail. Try TV screens in all seats, a service
provided by Asian carriers for a few years.
British Airways will be getting a Christmas present from me
this year, my frequent fliers card, returned unused.
