Holidaymakers return to the big smoke
Holidaymakers return to the big smoke
After spending Idul Fitri with their families in their hometowns
and villages across Java, Sumatra and other islands, hundreds of
thousands of Jakartans return home in time to start work on
Monday. Like their departure, most holidaymakers returned on
public transportation such as buses, trains and ferries. A small
number of holidayers who rode their own motorcycles to leave for
their hometowns on Java before the Idul Fitri holiday, had to
bring their motorcycles back to Jakarta.
