Hole in one at Corporate Golf

JAKARTA (JP): The Fedex-RPX Corporate Golf League first round
was marked with a hole in one on Friday at the Cengkareng Golf
Club, Banten.

Tatang Pardjaman, an invitee of the Media Indonesia team, made
the hole in one at the 17th hole. He won a sedan provided by the
main sponsor.

The PriceWaterhouseCoopers team won the first round with 54,
followed by Strategic Intelligence team also with 54. In third
place was Ascott 2 team carding 55 as well Ascott 1 team also
with 55.

This is the fifth league and the third one sponsored by the
courier company. One hundred and 11 golfers of 23 corporate teams
participated in the first round.

Also in the league's first round, Kevin O'Hagan of Indo
Multimedia produced the nearest to the pin while Paul Cross
recorded the longest drive.

The second round of total six rounds will be held on April 27
at the Bogor Raya Golf Club, West Java. (nvn)
