HK tourist drowns in Bali
JAKARTA: A boat carrying 10 tourists from Hong Kong sank off the Gunung Payung coast near the resort island of Bali, killing one of the tourists, a local police official said Tuesday.
Captain Nyoman Ade said by telephone from Bali that the boat, manned by a local crew of two, had been chartered by the tourists to cruise along the coast Monday when it sank, AFP reported.
Ade said a Hong Kong woman, identified as Ho Ziu-yee, 28, drowned, while the other passengers were said to be safe and alive.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated, police said.
