HIV/AIDS cases reach 370 in Bali
DENPASAR, Bali: As of October this year, 370 people were living with the Human Immuno-deficiency Virus/Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS) in Bali, an official has said.
I Made Molin Yudiasa, the head of Bali Provincial Health Office, said on Friday that, out of the total 370, 321 people had HIV.
"The remaining 49 people have AIDS," Yudiasa said.
Out of the total 370 people, 21 were foreigners, he said.
He added that of those people with HIV/AIDS most were aged between 20 and 29 years old.
Bali is ranked sixth nationwide in term of the number of people with AIDS. Jakarta has the most number of cases with 388, followed by Papua with 339 cases. -- Antara
