HHP receives award in Hong Kong

JAKARTA: Hadiputranto, Hadinoto & Partners (HHP) was named the Indonesian Law Firm of the Year by London-based International Financial Law Review (IFLR) magazine last Thursday during the IFLR's Asian Awards 2003 ceremony, which was held in Hong Kong.

This marks the fourth successive win for HHP. The firm has received the award every year since 2000.

In awarding the title, the IFLR took into account peer and client recommendations based on HHP's performance in 2003 in all the core areas covered by the magazine, particularly cross-border deals, the law firm said in a statement.

The award was received by HHP managing partner Timur Sukirno and senior partner Sri Indrastuti Hadiputranto.

Established in 1989, HHP is Baker & McKenzie's correspondent law firm in Indonesia and is part of an international network that comprises 68 offices in 38 countries.

HHP is affiliated with B & M Consultants, an Indonesian business consulting firm that offers investment, tax, trade and banking and finance advice. -- JP
