Heroin overdose

Recently, my husband's brother's son died tragically of a heroin overdose. He was only 17 years old.

I was horrified to learn that this was not just an isolated incident but almost a daily occurrence.

I would very much like to know what is being done to educate parents and their children to the horrors of drug addiction.

If the government is aware of the escalating drug problem in Jakarta and I am sure it is, it should be taking active steps to educate teachers, parents and children as well as the police.

People caught selling drugs to the youths of Jakarta should be arrested and punished to the full extent of the law.

God helps those who help themselves, and this problem will not go away, it will just keep getting worse if nothing is done.

How many more parents will be left mourning the untimely and unnecessary death of a beloved son or daughter?
