Here on Earth

Wealthy Kelley (Klein) never crosses the paths of the local country kids who live near his posh college, until one fateful day he decides to take his shiny Mercedes for a ride.

He ends up in a car race with local kid Jasper (Hartnett) and his girlfriend Samantha (Sobieski) and ruins a famous country diner owned by Samantha's mother.

Cocky Kelley is then sentenced to help rebuild the restaurant and has to stay with Jasper's family.

The three then learn about themselves and each other through hatred, love and jealousy.

Supposedly a coming-of-age drama, this flick did not impress most critics due to a second-rate plot.
