Henry Kissinger on corruption

I would like to add to Ms. Donna K. Woodward's article of Jan. 4, 2000: The U.S. Embassy and corruption.

The former secretary of state of the U.S., Mr. Henry Kissinger, perhaps the former boss of Ms. Donna K. Woodward, wrote in the International Herald Tribune of Oct. 5, 1998, an article The IMF's remedies are doing more harm than good, in which he suggested that corruption was only cost but not barrier to business.

And that we have another former secretary of state, Mr. Warren Christopher, who came to Indonesia "to try to sell" the stalled energy project in dispute now.
