Hendrawan, Tony get cash bonuses

JAKARTA (JP): Hendrawan and Tony Gunawan received cash bonuses
from the East Java administration for their success at the World
Championships in Seville, Spain, earlier this month.

Hendrawan became the fifth Indonesian to take the men's
singles crown at the World Championships, while Tony continued
the country's domination in the men's doubles, along with partner
Halim Heryanto of West Java.

Antara reported that Hendrawan received Rp 30 million
(US$2,655) while Tony was given Rp 20 million. The bonuses were
presented by Badminton Association of Indonesia chairman Subagyo
Hadisiswoyo on Monday evening during the opening of the Aqua
Masters junior circuit. (yan)
