Health ministry appoints officials

JAKARTA: Minister of Health Siti Fadilah Supari appointed five
new senior officials in a ceremony on Wednesday.

Four of the newly appointed officials will head the ministry's
directorate general.

The new directors general are: Sri Astuti Soedarso (community
health), Farid Wadjdi Husain (medical services), I Nyoman Kandun
(disease control and environmental health) and Krissna
Tirtawidjaja (pharmacy and medical equipment). Meanwhile,
Krishnajaya was appointed as the new inspector general. -- JP
