Harmoko almost loses his comb

BAUCAU, East Timor: Golkar chief Harmoko forgot to take his
comb, speech text and cash from his yellow party jacket before he
gave it to a girl during a campaign here Saturday.

"Excuse me, Sir, but do you mean to give me the comb as well?"
asked Virginia, 18, after she put the jacket on and found the
comb in a pocket.

"Ah, that's the (Golkar) boss' comb," Harmoko, who is renowned
for his sleek hair, said blushing.

Approaching Virginia and taking the comb, he said, "Let me see
if anything else is left inside."

After checking the pockets, he fished out a speech text and
several Rp 20,000 bank notes, Antara reported.

"OK, this is for you and keep the jacket when the election is
over," he told Virginia. (pan)
