Hamzah Haz bids farewell

JAKARTA: Vice President Hamzah Haz marked his last days of
service by inaugurating the Vice Presidential Secretariat's
Management Information System and officiating the ground-breaking
of Baitul Rahman Mosque here on Monday.

Monday was practically Hamzah's final day in office, as he
will leave for a minor haj pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia
until his term ends on Oct. 20.

Later in the day, Hamzah attended a final Cabinet meeting
which was presided over by President Megawati Soekarnoputri. --
