Haj registration in S. Jakarta

JAKARTA (JP): The number of Jakartans registering at South
Jakarta's haj affairs office for next year's pilgrimage to Mecca
has so far reached 1,900.

Zachrudin Zen, head of the haj affairs office, said on
Wednesday that the registrants are expected to join pilgrimage
ritual instruction in their respective district offices.

The exercise in Jagakarsa district South Jakarta, for example,
is held for four days and starts on Wednesday, while the one in
Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, was held over two days and ended
yesterday, he said.

During the instruction, they will be trained by Islamic
religious leaders and officers of the haj affairs office, he
