Habibie's promises

Now that he has sworn in his new old-face-dominated reform
cabinet (The Jakarta Post, May 24), our new president must prove
all his promises and commitments.

Many people think President B.J. Habibie is a clone of
Soeharto, his long-time political guru. If his new cabinet makes
no effort with the many reforms demanded by the people, his four-
year term might be a "Soeharto without Soeharto reign".
