Guess What? Linda Evangelista

Being a top model is probably a sweet dream for many young girls worldwide, but for one of the world's super models, Linda Evangelista, it is only a stepping-stone career.

Whereas model Cindy Crawford is seeking a movie career and black model Naomi Campbell is starting a literary sojourn by writing a novel, Evangelista would prefer to pursue a career as a housewife and a good mother.

"When I retire from modeling, I really want to become the best mother for my children," she told reporters during a press conference at the Sahid Jaya Hotel on Thursday.

"I want to marry a man who has a heart. "As long as we love and respect each other, I don't care about his nationality, his age or his profession and I like Asian men".

She is accompanied by Heidi Albertsten, the winner of the Elite Look of the Year l993 award. Evangelista was appointed as an honorary judge for the final of Indonesia's Elite Model Look l995 contest.

Fifteen Indonesian teenagers are to compete for tickets to the international Elite Model Look l995 in Seoul, South Korea, in August.

Asked whether Indonesian representatives have a chance to win the international competition, Evangelista commented,"The chance is wide open for talented young girls."(raw)
