Guess What? Hurbert Neiss

One may look sexy because of one's lips or one's eyes. But according to one journalist, the sex appeal of International Monetary Fund Asia Pacific director Hubert Neiss is because of his haircut.

The female TV reporter apparently fell in love with Neiss specifically because of his typical haircut.

"He looks very sexy with that hairstyle," she said.

The reporter asked her colleague to inform Neiss about her feelings. Neiss hid a smile when the message was delivered to him.

"Actually, I even want to cut it shorter, as it is easier for maintenance," Neiss said after meeting with Vice President B.J. Habibie recently.

Neiss has been in town since March 18 for a marathon negotiation with Indonesian ministers on the country's economy.

Indonesian officials participating in the talks praised Neiss as a tough but a honest negotiator with a good sense of humor.

Journalists also like him because he is more generous than Indonesian officials in briefing them on the negotiations. (prb)
