It seems there is never enough news about artist Desy
Ratnasari in the papers. The first and the most controversial
report was about her supposed relationship with former manpower
minister Abdul Latief.

Then, people were surprised by reports of her sudden marriage
to Trenadi Pramudya, in her hometown of Sukabumi in February.

Now she has been reportedly making fun of two brothers who are
smitten with her.

But don't get too carried away. This latest piece on the 26-
year-old artist is not true. In fact, it is only a synopsis of
the artist's new television series, Cinta (Love), to be screened
by private television station RCTI by the end of April.

Dubbed "Mrs. No Comment" for her reluctance to answer
questions about her personal life, the singer of popular song
Tenda Biru (Blue Tent) has donned a new mantle in her acting
career.

In the 26-episode series, she is not her usual stereotype of
an innocent and pitiful girl or a victim of other people's evil
plots. Instead, she plays a university student, who makes fun of
the love of a sick man and falls pregnant to his macho and
handsome brother.

Cinta, produced by Indika Entertainment, was adapted from Mira
W's novel Seandainya Aku Boleh Memilih (If I Can Choose). (ste)
