Guess What? 98 Degrees

Each music group has fans who know every single tidbit about them. But for 98 Degrees, a group of American male vocalists, none of their fans here really know about their idols.

They do know the group's hit songs, such as Invisible Man and the new single Was It Something I Didn't Say?, which they performed while promoting the group's debut album, 98, at the Sahid Jaya Hotel here Tuesday.

Some of the teenagers attending the performance could not hide their surprise when group members revealed that one had worked as a gardener, another as a delivery boy for a Chinese food restaurant and another as a security guard, while waiting for a chance to enter recording studios.

"I can't imagine Jeff working as a security guard," whispered a girl referring to one of the group's members, Jeffrey Brandon Timmons.

Jeffrey and three other members, Justin Paul Jeffre, Andrew John Lachey and Nicholas Scott Lachey, were also scheduled to perform last Thursday at Hard Rock Cafe. (ste)
